Mayo Ohchi was born and raised in Kanagawa, just south of Tokyo. Mayo caught the motorcycle bug from his father as they watched MotoGP every weekend together since he was a little boy. While at University, Mayo studied Tourism, focusing on English and hospitality management. After graduating, Mayo worked as a tour attendant for a motorcycle travel company in Japan, where he had the opportunity to accompany IMTBIKE’s Japan tours and become an IMTBIKE guide apprentice. In 2023, Mayo completed the BMW Motorrad International Tourguide Academy making him an Official BMW Guide. When not guiding tours Mayo enjoys riding his own motorcycle through he beautiful Japanese mountain roads on his days off.
