  • Scott is originally from the United States but he has been living and riding in Spain since 1989.  Scott was first hooked on motorcycling at age ten when he purchased his first motorcycle: a third-hand Yamaha JT1 60cc mini-bike.  Since then Scott has been exclusively a two-wheel man and has never owned a car in his life! He has ridden a motorcycle in every continental US state and has also participated in two BMW Around the World Trips. He is fluent in English and Spanish, and takes pride in enjoying Spanish life to the fullest. Scott directs IMTBike´s office operations, but still finds time to lead a tour or two especially in Morocco.

    Gustavo is a journalist and tireless motorcycle traveller that has published, over the past 30 years, the best routes of the Iberian Peninsula, Europe and Morocco, in some of the most prestigious magazines from Spain and South America. His knowledge of the roads, history and culture of each region is exceptional. He is the author of five books on motorcycling routes in Spain and Europe and one book of short stories from his travels.  He organized two BMW round the world trips and managed the TV motorcycle teams covering the Sydney, Athens and Peking Olympic games.

    Montxo is the director of BMW Movilnorte, the largest BMW dealership in Spain. Montxo makes sure that IMTBike's BMW fleet is always updated with the latest models and that the bikes are inspected and in perfect working condition before each tour. Montxo is also the ex-enduro champion of Spain, with both national and international competitions under his belt.

  • Isabel has a degree in Tourism Business Administration and she joined the IMTBike team in October 2002. Isabel's main job is to insure that all aspects of our tours are in order for a flawless vacation. Born in Madrid to a Spanish Mother and French father she was raised with two native languages and speaks English as well. When Isabel is not working she enjoys traveling, reading, going to the movies, and writing short stories.

    Christophe is originally from Bordeaux, France and joined IMTBike in 2005. When it comes to riding, Christophe was a late bloomer. He didn't get on a motorcycle until the age of 25, but it was "love at first ride". Christophe speaks French, English, German, Spanish and Portuguese. When he is not riding, Christophe wishes he was riding, but he also enjoys playing soccer and reading.

    Irina has a degree in Law and speaks Russian, Greek, English and Spanish fluently. Born in Russia to a Russian mother and Greek father. She lived in three different countries and loves to travel and discovering new places, cultures and cuisine. When not working Irina likes doing sports such as jogging, fitness, Bikram Yoga, reading and going to concerts.

  • Paloma was born in Madrid and works in IMTBike's main office as the head of our motorcycle rental department and now she is in charge of the Marketing Department. Paloma is an avid traveler who loves discovering new cultures and people. Her favourite city will always be San Francisco, California. In her spare time she enjoys hiking in the mountains with her dog Nuka, watching TV Show, reading neverending books and everything related to "Game of Thrones."

    Itziar was born in 1996 and is studying Advertising and Public Relations at the Complutense University in Madrid. She speaks Spanish, English and a bit of German. Her first ride was on a Trials bike when she was seven and ever since then she’s been in love with the world of motorcycles. Her favorite pilot is Valentino Rossi, she even named her scooter “Valentina.” She loves travelling, seeing new places, and motorcycle touring with her father. She’s also an excellent cook. In her free time she likes to draw, play guitar, exercise and go the theatre.

    María was born on May 3rd 1984 in Madrid. She earned a degree in Tourism and joined the IMTBIKE family in December of 2015. In her free time she loves travelling, going to the movies, roller-skating, and spending time in nature. She’s has a fascination with ancient Egyptian and Roman history and also the Medieval Ages. She’s also a dog lover. At IMTBIKE, María is in charge of all restaurant and hotel reservations for our tours making sure all our tour members have the highest quality experience on every trip.

  • Chano is one of IMTBike's first head guides.  He joined the IMTBike family in 1998. Prior to that, Chano was a member of the Spanish King's Royal Escort for 18 years, riding a Harley Davidson in front of the Royal Family's processional carriage. Also took care of the personal King’s bikes mechanical maintenance for some years. Chano speaks Spanish, English, and French and when he is not guiding tours, Chano enjoys hiking the mountains, sailing and traveling with his family. He combines his work with IMTBike with organized sailing as a skipper. Chano lives in the mountains outside of Avila with his wife and two children.    

    Known as “222” amongst the IMTBIKE family, Martín began leading tours in 1998. He’s been riding motorcycles for so long that he can’t even remember when his first ride was. Probably when he was just a kid, with his older friends’ Bultacos and Montesas. These experiences fascinated him so much that motorcycling became his passion and his profession. For more than a third of his life, Martín tested and reviewed new motorcycles and publishing articles in the most prestigious magazines and websites in Spain. Martín is also an experienced riding instructor and he has taught classes on the most famous MotoGP tracks in Spain. When “his girls” (he’s father of two girls) and his work obligations allow him, Martín likes to "take on the mountains" pedaling his mountain bike or playing Rock & Blues on one of his beloved guitars. He speaks Catalan, Spanish and English.

    Sergi, or “Slim” as he is known affectionately to everyone, joined IMTBike in 2010. He was born in Belgium but moved to Barcelona when he was 4. He speaks Catalan, Spanish, French and English.  Sergi has been riding motorcycles since he was 15 and got the first of his many bikes at 17.  Slim is passionate with sports like ski and above all mountain bike, and tries to stay in good shape so he can get the most out of his Ducati on the racetrack . He is a motorhead and is also interested in classic cars. In his spare time he tries to improve his skills as an amateur DJ.

  • Javi was born in Madrid. He started riding at 8 and at 16 was already a professional motocross rider. He competed in the Spanish and European championships for 10 years. He was the motocross and supercross champion of Castilla la Mancha  4 years in a row. He is still part of the motocross world, organizing riding courses as an instructor and participating in some races as a wild card. In 2011 Javi joined the IMTBike family as manager of the motorcycle fleet in Madrid. Javi makes sure that every motorcycle is in perfect condition for IMTBike’s customers. In his spare time he likes to mountain bike, windsurf and play with his band Indigo Rodeo!

    Ryan hails from the Pacific Northwest of the United States. His first ride on a motorcycle was a Royal Enfield in India at age 19. He hasn't stopped since! An avid traveler and photographer, Ryan has ridden extensively throughout the West coast of the U.S., Central America, Colombia and the Iberian Peninsula. He takes trips on his motorcycle every chance he gets. Ryan joined the IMTBike family in 2013 as a Madrid agent and guide. When not riding Ryan likes hiking in the mountains around Madrid, updating his photography blog and sampling Madrid's finest craft beers.

    Tomás González, better known as "Cirilo" or “Tommy” is originally from the Basque Country. He studied Engineering in Madrid and later moved to Malaga to enjoy Andalucia's sunshine. Cirilo, heads up the Malaga office and is in charge keeping our BMW fleet in perfect condition. Also participates as a guide in some tours. Cirilo also enjoys sailing, hang gliding, and photography.

  • Born in San Sebastian in the Basque Country, Mikel joined IMTBike in April 2008. He started riding enduro bikes in his native Basque Country at 15 and then moved on to street bikes.  Mikel, is a trained mechanic but also a “jack of all trades.” He speaks Spanish, English and Euskera(the Basque language) and enjoys leading  IMTBIKE tours especially in Morocco and Northern Spain.   When Mikel is not riding or working on motorcycles, he enjoys hiking in the mountains, rock climbing, going to the movies, and spending time with his friends.

    Roger hails from Barcelona. His passion for travel leads him to study tourism. After completing his degree, Roger, received a scholarship to work in Northern France at the Tourism Office and of course he brought his motorcycle with him. Roger started riding when he was 3 years old and he has always been passionate about motorcycles, both enduro and street bikes. He has explored all corners of the Iberian Peninsula and numerous European countries and has toured extensively in Morocco. Roger also spent 6 months riding his BMW around Latin America and made it to Tierra del Fuego after a 15 day ride through Patagonia. Roger is also a riding and driving instructor and collaborates with Spanish motorcycle magazines. When Roger is not guiding tours for IMTBike he makes time for his other passion: sailing the Mediterranean.

    Ruben Mejias hails from Barcelona and has been crazy about motorcycles ever since his first ride at age five on the legendary Montesa Cota 25. By age seven he was already honing his skills on a Montesa Cota 123.  Since then many bikes have passed through his hands although few of them remained stock for long as his interest in mechanics meant he was always looking for a way to improve them. These experiences eventually lead to him to pursue a career in mechanics and for a decade he worked as an official BMW Motorrad mechanic. In his garage Ruben has a couple of classic motorcycles, a sports car and his beloved camper van, which he put together himself. In his free time he plays guitar, tinkers with his bikes and cars and co-pilots rally cars. As he puts it, he grew up around the smell of gasoline and burnt rubber. He joined the IMTBIKE family in 2013 and speaks English, Catalan and Spanish.

  • Nuno is a native of Lisbon, Portugal and has been riding and fixing motorcycles since he was 17.  He has ridden more than 700,000 kilometers in Lisbon working with a delivery service.  Nuno loves riding his four Honda Africa Twins which is his motorcycle of choice and he also loves meeting people from all over the world. In his free time he enjoys taking his ATV off-road and camping under the stars . Nuno is in charge of IMTBIKE’s Lisbon office.

    Born in Esplugues de Llobregat, Barcelona, Oscar’s interest in motorcycling began at a young age. When he was just 10 years old he attended MotoGP races with his older brothers and dreamed of racing motorcycles one day. He turned his dreams into reality when he started racing professionally some years later. He’s been involved in many types of races including 125cc, 250GP Supersport, he was a Wild-Card in the Thunderbike World Championships, the European Championships and the Supersport World Championships. He’s also participated in the Montemeló 24 hour Endurance race and the Bold d’Or 24 Hours race. He collaborates with Motociclismo Magazine as a test rider and teaches riding courses both on and off the track. He’s worked on the MotoGP teams and continues collaborating as the hospitality coordinator of MotoGP Avintia Racing in all four Spanish MotoGP races. When he’s not riding, Oscar loves to cook for his friends and girlfriend and go riding in the hills around Barcelona on his mountain bike.

  • Jose was born in Barcelona and has always been a sports enthusiast, including all motorsports. A consummate rider, Jose collaborated for several years with LA MOTO magazine as a test rider for comparative bike reviews. He has been collaborating with IMTBike since 2005 in all different aspects of the company. In 2007 he had a grave traffic accident and since then he has been just as active as before, only from a somewhat lower height, the height of his wheelchair. Jose constantly looks for new challenges like participating in the Spanish Tennis Championship where he is already ranked in the top 25…and he keeps improving! Jose is also an ambassador for the Step by Step Sports Foundation which develops training programs for people with spinal injuries. When Jose has some free time he enjoys reading, playing his bass guitar and driving his specially prepared go-kart.

    Dan began with IMTBike in 2001.  Exposure to motorcycling first came as a passenger on his father's various charges, but by age seventeen, he had caught the bug and hasn't looked back. Some of Dan's more recent riding adventures include the Sierra Nevada Mountains of Northern California, the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, the Black Hills of South Dakota, and of course all throughout Spain. When not out riding, Dan enjoys fishing, skiing, travel, and reading Harry Potter novels.

    Ethan hails from Santa Fe, New Mexico. He is a graduate of University of Denver, with a degree in International Business. Prior to graduating, Ethan spent time living and studying in Salamanca and Barcelona. An avid motorcycle enthusiast, Ethan was quickly engulfed by the thrill of two wheels the first time he got on a bike. Over the past few years he has logged many miles while exploring New Mexico, Colorado, and the incredible Pyrenees Mountains. When Ethan is not motorcycling he enjoys riding mountain bikes, skiing, and photography.

  • Teo arrived late to the motorcycle world, but he soon got hooked on two wheel travelling. He has ridden in Ireland, France, Italy, Switzerland, Austria, Germany and of course Spain. In 2010 he took a break from his work as a R&D Project Manager to travel through The Patagonia from Ushuaia to Cusco on a BMW. He is fluent in English and can handle a bit of French and now collaborates with IMTBike. When he is not riding, he enjoys playing basketball and strumming the guitar.

    Rafa is originally from Barcelona but he has strong links to La Mancha and Asturias. He has a passion for all motorized machines and motorcycles have been a part of his life since his first ride at 13.  Rafa is an expert motorcyclist and has been collaborating with IMTBike since 2009 in the exploration of new tours. When not on two wheels Rafa is a die hard rock and blues fan and he is known for getting on his bike and riding whatever distance necessary to see a good concert!

    Juan Pablo was born in Madrid but moved to Barcelona in 2002. He started riding when he was 15 and has been hooked on motorcycling ever since. He speaks Spanish and English and collaborates with IMTBIKE in the Barcelona rental center and as a guide.  When not thinking about motorcycles he is a rock climbing instructor and loves jazz and Hi-Fi audio equipment.
