1.\u00a0 \u00a0How did you become part of the IMTBIKE Family?\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

A friend of a friend knew a friend of Scott\u2019s and I showed up for an interview to work at IMTBIKE.\u00a0 Fortunately I was the only one being interviewed and I could leave on the tour that started the following day and I\u2019m still leading tours.<\/em><\/p>\n

2. What do you always take with you on a tour?\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

I don\u00b4t have any lucky charms, no rabbit\u2019s foot or anything like that. I just bring enthusiasm.<\/em><\/p>\n

3.\u00a0What do you like to eat for breakfast when on a tour?\u00a0 \u00a0<\/strong> \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Coffee, toast with olive oil and honey, orange juice and fruit. Although I don\u00b4t usually have much of an appetite the morning after our copious evening meals.<\/em><\/p>\n

4. Do you have any rituals before starting a tour?<\/strong><\/p>\n

No, I don\u00b4t have any rituals, although I like other guide\u2019s rituals and don\u00b4t mind following along with them.<\/em><\/p>\n

5. Wine or beer?<\/strong><\/p>\n

What\u00b4s wine\u2026\u2026? Well Okay\u2026. Wine is fine also.<\/em><\/p>\n

6 . Of the trips you\u00b4ve done with IMTBIKE, Which one did you like the most?<\/strong><\/p>\n

The tour that I haven\u2019t done in the longest time!<\/em><\/p>\n

7. What\u2019s the funnest thing that\u2019s happened to you on a tour?<\/strong><\/p>\n

If I have to pick just one out of the thousands, I\u00b4d say the day we ended up at Jesul\u00edn de Ubrique\u00b4s(famous Spanish bullfighter) house. My wife saw me on TV that night and I had some explaining to do.<\/em><\/p>\n

8. What it\u00b4is your favorite food? \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Risotto Tartufo e funghi and three thousand other dishes of which I can\u00b4t remember their names.<\/em><\/p>\n

9. What do you like doing most in your free time?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Playing the Saxophone, riding motorcycles, hiking in the mountains and anything else that I\u00b4m invited to, almost without exception.<\/em><\/p>\n

10. If you could meet anyone, dead or alive\u2026 who would it be?\u00a0 \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Hypatia of Alexandria<\/em><\/p>\n

11. What do you think is the invention of all times?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Anesthesia.<\/em><\/p>\n

12. If you could be an animal, what would you be?<\/strong><\/p>\n

A monkey!\u00a0 Because they ride on motorcycles! (note: word for monkey and for leather suits worn by track riders is the same in Spanish)<\/em><\/p>\n

13.\u00a0If you had a time machine where would you go?<\/strong><\/p>\n

To the future.<\/em><\/p>\n

14. Who do you consider to be the best band\/singer in today\u2019s music?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Bruno Mars.<\/em><\/p>\n

15. What do you do on a rainy day?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Almost always get wet like a knucklehead!<\/em><\/p>\n

16. What\u00b4s your favorite ice cream flavor?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Olive oil(found in Andaluc\u00eda), also nougat.<\/em><\/p>\n

17. What do you think about when riding a motorcycle?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I don\u00b4t think, I dream, dream that everything is going to go smoothly.<\/em><\/p>\n

18. What do you want to be when you grow up?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Young.<\/em><\/p>\n

19. What super power would you like to have?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Being able to fly. Yes, like a little kid, so what?<\/em><\/p>\n
