General Information about Madrid

Madrid is the capital of Spain and is located in the geographical center of the Iberian Peninsula on the high central plateau surrounded by three different mountain ranges. Madrid’s historical center is a mixture of quaint labyrinthine streets, plazas and parks which make it very pleasant for daytime strolling. At night Madrid becomes alive and its lively nightlife is famous as numerous bars, restaurants and live music venues are packed with locals and tourists alike. “De Madrid al Cielo” (From Madrid to Heaven) is the commonly heard slogan for Madrid as the only thing better is heaven!

Madrid has always had a strong motorcycle tradition and motorcycles are found in her streets all year round. Just outside Madrid is a motorcycle paradise with perfect motorcycle roads just 30 minutes outside the city center. A few kilometers from Madrid you can also find the Jarama Racetrack where many motorcycle world championships have been fought.

One should not visit Madrid without seeing the Prado Museum, the Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor, The Retiro Park, and if you happen the be in Madrid on a Sunday the Rastro open air flea market is always a bustling affair.

IMTBike only has new model BMWs fully loaded and 3 BMW cases. IMTBike changes it fleet every 12 months to make sure all its motorcycles are in perfect condition and with low kilometers.

In the case of 1-6 day rentals there is mileage limit
of 300 km/day. Every kilometer above this
300-km limit will be charged at a rate
of 0.30 euros per kilometer. Rentals 7 days or longer
have unlimited kilometers incluided in the rental price.
